Terms of Service

KitchenRun lets you browse a curated recipe library, pick recipes for the week, and generate a single merged shopping list. You shop wherever you like — we don't sell or deliver groceries.

KitchenRun is currently in free public beta. During the beta the full service is available at no charge, billing is disabled, and no payment details are taken.

We intend to introduce paid subscriptions in future. We will give you clear notice and updated terms before any charges apply — you will never be charged without first agreeing to a paid plan. Indicative pricing shown in the app is for information only and may change before launch.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• Provide accurate information and keep your password secure.
• You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• One account per person; don't share your login.

When using KitchenRun, you agree not to:

• Break the law or infringe anyone else's rights.
• Copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute our recipe content or data except as the service allows for your personal use.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, other users' accounts, or our systems.
• Probe, scan, overload, or disrupt the service, or circumvent any access or rate limits.
• Upload malicious code, or use the service to send spam or abusive content.
• Create accounts by automated means or to abuse free-beta access.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, where we reasonably need to protect the service or other users.

Recipes, serving sizes, and especially per-serving calorie figures are provided for general information only. Calorie values are estimates calculated from ingredient quantities, not laboratory measurements — see Nutrition data & sources. They are not nutritional or medical advice. Always check ingredient packaging for allergens and dietary information, and cook food safely.

The KitchenRun name, app, and curated recipe content are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own meal planning. Nutrition reference data is drawn from open datasets under their own licences, credited on the Nutrition data page.

We work hard to keep KitchenRun running, but during beta especially the service is provided “as is” and may change, be interrupted, or contain errors. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss arising from your use of the service.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your rights as a consumer.

You can stop using KitchenRun and delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or where we stop offering the service.

We may update these terms as the service develops; the “last updated” date above shows the current version and we'll flag material changes. These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Questions? Email hello@kitchen-run.com.
